This is Bergen, mostly the city centre and a few streets I walked around this afternoon.

Not too much to talk about today. Went to the Natural History Museum first. It’s not very good, covers most of the old favourites (earthquakes/dinosaurs/ evolution) and does none very well. I’d hoped for a better section of fjord formation and glacial erosion. Generally lacked imagination.

Tried shopping for presents but soon realised I’m not moneyed enough for that lark (£80 for a scarf?!).

Went to a battle of the bands this evening. Expected nothing good, wasn’t disappointed. Most of the bands had a hair metal or RATM hangover and no idea what a song structure is. At least a couple of them made me laugh. (Just had a big de ja vu. Cool.)

Alas, back to Oslo the morn.
